Sondehunting at winter! My first of the this year. -17 degC, recovered by skiing in the forest for an hour. Lots of snow. Everything at ground. Wooden spool with party-balloon and eco strings. Graw DFM17 #23063112.

This seems to be tradition for Latvian sondes. Latvian sondes all want to to flying perfect circle over a terrorist country. (Hint: this is actually GPS spoofing). This one was V2010811.

Yet another Latvia radisonde that hit pretty advanced GPS / GNSS jamming. Hint: radiosondes do not supposed to fly perfect circle for such time.

Last night midnight radiosonde (V1630925) in Finland had pretty abnormal ascent/descent speeds. It went up much slower than normally (probably wet or under-fill) and came down even slower most of the flight, about -2m/s. Our club receiver got first packet at elevation 0deg and last packet at -0.4 deg (334km) which is wayyy behind the radio horizon. #radiosonde #sonde #vaisala #weatherballoon
Sonde Sunday! Found four, searched for six. No deer keds (hirvikärpänen) at all. Autumn colors were nice. Fields were harvested so much easier to pick paths. #radiosonde #sonde #radiosondi #sääilmapallo
