I myself have experienced that App Store review process might disqualify an update to already released app (available for download at App store) because "it's too simple".

My friend have an app that have thousands of users that have PAID for it. He is afraid to update the app, last time they removed it from sales as it was "too simple". Thousands of paid users and too simple?

This eventually lead to situation where developers do not update their software because of fear of ridiculous subjective App Store review process.

As Apple is forced to allow sideloading iOS apps, there is one thing going to happen: for "some reason" all Meta company apps are distributed as sideloading. Mark my words.

Sure Meta will also distribute apps in App Store but quickly ask user to "upgrade" from sideloading source.

What iOS developers can do? Start flooding the market with very nasty sideloaded apps which purpose is to end up in news and cause global awarness to how bad idea sideloading is.
